Amazing $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Online Gaming GM's Dream

After a short availability back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned with an encore that lasts through early December. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the entire collection is valued at over $1,300. And there are multiple package options offered in this deal.

The Main Attraction

The standout feature is definitely permanent access to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard mapping application which enables users to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Bundle Tiers

Entry Level

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection for at least $15 is where things get more interesting by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

Every volume of Cartographer's Annual are included here, plus numerous other resource and asset packs enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, underground complexes, urban centers, and land masses from almost any perspective. Users can also create character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously an even better deal for cartography beginners since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though the purchase is available on any platform, the applications only function with Windows systems.
